General Terms and Conditions of Business of Alpenfreifall GmbH valid as of 2014
1. Conclusion of a contract
The customer orders a tandem parachute jump from Alpenfreifall GmbH. This is a parachute jump together with a companion (tandem master). The jump takes place from an airplane. A contract is concluded between the customer and Alpenfreifall GmbH for all services. The basis of this contract are these general terms and conditions. We assume that by booking you have read and understood this sheet and accepted the terms and conditions listed therein.
2. Prices
Please see our current price lists. Prices include VAT at the tax rate applicable in Austria. If there are any mistakes in our prices or if any of the product information is incomplete, we reserve the right to make corrections. We will inform customers immediately upon detection of the error and inform them about the change to the new information. The customer may then reconfirm the order or cancel the contract.
3. Jump tickets
Jump tickets are available online at www.alpsfreefall.com. Tickets will be sent by post within one week. All jump tickets are valid for 24 months from the date of issue and not tied to a name.We offer appointments from March to November. If the event has been cancelled several times (at least 6x) during the past six months due to inclement weather, we will extend the Alpenfreifall ticket for one more year free of charge. This only applies to tickets issued by Alpenfreifall GmbH(Alpenfreifall- ticket). For the validity of tickets and/or vouchers from our marketing partners, see their General Terms and Conditions of Business. Please ask your sales partner about the period of validity. From 2021 we offer a contract with the following three companies Salzburg Adventures, Jollydays, and Loos&partner.
4. Terms of payment
Alpenfreifall tickets are only valid once they have been paid for in full and payment has been received by Alpenfreifall GmbH. The buyer of an Alpenfreifall-ticket undertakes to pay the purchase price within 7 days after receiving the invoice of the Alpenfreifall-ticket without any deduction. The customer can also book his jump on a specific date without ordering a ticket. In this case, the jump has to be paid for in cash or by card on site at the appointment. Ticket orders are ideal for giving away.
5. Shipping
The Alpenfreifall- ticket is usually delivered by post within a week. If the Alpenfreifall-ticket does not reach the customer within this period, the customer should inform Alpenfreifall GmbH of this, as it can be assumed that the Alpenfreifall-ticket was either lost in the Post or that the delivery address was incorrect.
6. Right of withdrawal and return
The consumer can withdraw from a contract concluded in distance selling or a contract declaration made in distance selling within 7 days of the conclusion of the contract.
7.Reservation of availability
Should Alpenfreifall GmbH discover after the conclusion of the contract that the service is no longer available (for example, because the aircraft is not available) or can no longer be provided for technical or legal reasons, Alpenfreifall GmbH can withdraw from the contract. Payments already received will be refunded immediately and appointment bookings by customers without an Alpenfreifall- ticket or agent ticket will be canceled free of charge. In this case, the customer is not entitled to any further claims.
8.Registration
Registration in advance is necessity. Depending on the desired event, this registration should be made online by the customer himself at least one week before the date of the event at: www.alpsfreefall.com.
9. Appointments
For availability please see our online calendar at : www.alpsfreefall.com for free dates on which you can reserve our services. Since all of our events depend on the weather, we sometimes have to cancel and re book them. This happens on the day of your reservation at the latest. Only the management of Alpenfreifall GmbH is authorized to make such cancellations. We reserve the right to cancel for inclement weather or technical reasons at short notice.The voucher will still be valid for your next booking. We are not liable for any travel or other costs in the event of cancellations.
The costumer then has to rebook his appointment online.
10. Cancellation of the jump reservation
If you cannot keep your jump appointment (the booked time of the appointment), please let us know by email (office@alpenfreifall.at). The best thing to do is to simply reply to the booking confirmation email.
The customer can cancel a booked jump appointment without cancellation fee, provided there are 3 full days between the time of cancellation and the planned appointment.
If not, we will charge € 50.00. (These € 50.00 are to be paid regardless of whether the customer has an Alpenfreifall- ticket, an agent Ticket or no ticket at all).
Cancellation is no longer possible on the day of the appointment (100% of the current Alpenfreifall ticket price must be paid, an Alpenfreifall- ticket that has already been paid for becomes invalid, or agent tickets are settled by Alpenfreifall GmbH with these agents and can no longer be used)

We do not check the validity of any tickets in advance. The customer is responsible for redemption during the period of validity! If you are delayed by more than 15 minutes, the cancellation is also 100% (100% of the current Alpenfreifall- ticket price must be paid, an already paid Alpenfreifall ticket becomes invalid, or agent tickets are settled by Alpenfreifall GmbH with these agents and can no longer be redeemed). Unfortunately, on fully booked days we do not have the opportunity to wait longer for the customer.
If the requirements for participation (point 11) are not met by your jump date, the cancellation is also 100% (100% of the current Alpenfreifall- ticket price must be paid, an Alpenfreifall- ticket that has already been paid for will become invalid, or agent tickets will be canceled by Alpenfreifall GmbH are settled with these agents and can no longer be redeemed).
11. Conditions of participation
No high physical requirements are required to participate in our events. Average health and a stable physical constitution are usually sufficient. There is no upper age limit for participants, if the aforementioned is given.
The minimum age for participation is 13 years and a minimum height of 140 cm. In the case of minors, we must have a declaration of consent from the legal guardian. Their signature on the contract of carriage, which must be signed before the jump, is also sufficient.
The body weight of the participant must not exceed 85 kg for all events. The weight is checked on site with a scale. 2kg will be deducted from the weight due to the clothing.
Please ask if you are not sure whether you meet the physical requirements. In cases of doubt, the decision on whether we take you along is up to our on-site manager. In addition, a transport contract must be signed on site before the jump.
If one of the requirements for participation is not met on the day of your jump appointment, we will not jump with you and the cancellation conditions from point 10 apply ( 100% of the current Alpenfreifall- ticket price must be paid, an Alpenfreifall- ticket that has already been paid will be invalid or agent tickets are settled with these agents by Alpenfreifall GmbH and can no longer be redeemed).
12. Insurance
Within the bounds of statutory provisions, participants in our events / aerial sport equipment and aircraft are insured as follows:
a) Liability aviation insurance and passenger liability insurance
b)Passenger accident insurance
c)Liability insurance of the aircraft for physical injury and damage to property
The participant is responsible for any insurance protection over and above this.
13. Disclaimer of liability
During the tandem jump, the customer is not allowed to bring watches, valuables or other foreign objects, such as cell phones, heart rate belts or cameras. If such items belonging to the customer are damaged, any liability the part of Alpenfreifall GmbH is excluded. Alpenfreifall GmbH is only liable for property damage suffered by a customer in the event of gross negligence or willful misconduct
14. Running of the event
Each of our events should be an experience and a pleasure for you. Please take enough time to get there, before and after. Follow-up work and also plan for possible delays. The time required for all activities will generally be a maximum of 4 hours. Please do not drink alcohol, even the evening before, have a good rest and have a sufficient breakfast. The necessary equipment will be provided to you by Alpenfreifall GmbH or by a commissioned organizer on site. Wear comfortable, sturdy clothing and sports shoes with smooth soles that are suitable for the season. The timing and the division of the aircraft at the event location is regulated exclusively by our responsible persons, who are happy to take your wishes into account if possible.
15. Choice of law
Austrian law applies to the legal relationships between Alpenfreifall GmbH and its customers as well as to the pertinent terms and conditions of business. Place of jurisdiction is Gmunden.
16. Severability clause
If individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Business are invalid or unfeasible, or become invalid or unfeasible, the validity of the other provisions will not be affected.In this case, the parties to the contract are obliged to replace the invalid provision with a valid provision which comes closest to the purpose of the agreement. The same applies if a provision is incomplete.
